I believe this is the debut novel for Dr Larry Kachik and I really enjoyed all of it. It sounds like this will be the first in a series and I am already excited for future books. Such a great story and descriptions of not only the characters and settings but this book also depicted so many interactions so wonderfully. There were several times that I thought I would be able to predict what was coming, but I was sorely mistaken. Bang up job on this one, definitely will recommend.

Thank you for the copy, this is my honest opinion. Please be aware of any trigger warnings, as your mental health is most important.

I really enjoyed this book. ZZ is an ER doctor who travels around the country working for different ERs in need of doctors. Being a RN, I really appreciated the realism of the ER scenes and world love to work with a doctor like ZZ. When tragedy strikes his family, he must go home to their horse racing farm to help his mother. When he arrives, the farm is in disarray and financially unstable. Can ZZ race against time to save the family farm? This book was filled with twists and turns that I did not see coming. I can’t wait for book 2. Highly recommend!
